AI/ML Engineer

The AI/ML Engineer role requires a blend of expertise in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), ML Engineering, Data Science, Large Language Models (LLMs), and software engineering principles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Participate in the research and development of AI/ML projects that impact our products and customers.
- Build and train machine learning models to solve specific problems and optimize models for performance and accuracy, such as anomaly detection algorithms or predictive models.
- Apply ML expertise to train models, validate their accuracy, and deploy them at scale to production environments.
- Apply best practices in MLOps, LLMOps, Data Science, and software engineering to ensure the delivery of clean, efficient, and reliable code.
- Monitor and evaluate model performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data from various sources to discover patterns and features necessary to automate analytical models.
SKILLS
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as time series, anomaly detection, clustering, association, and deep learning is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R.
- Strong software engineering skills (SQL, Agile, UX, Cloud architecture).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Basic project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver data science projects on time and within scope are preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
- Experience building production-quality systems with AI-related models, frameworks, and toolsets like LLMs, Vector Databases, NLP, prompt engineering, and agent architectures.
- Experience with RAG frameworks and Agentic workflows is valuable.
- Experience with LLM management and optimization platforms like LangChain and Hugging Face.
- Proven ability to deploy, monitor, and enhance LLMs like GPT, Llama, Claude.
- Familiarity with common data science toolkits and libraries, such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and OpenAI.
